Poultry and Red Meat Denaturant
D 10 is a concentrated, liquid denaturing agent for identification use on quarantined poultry and red meat.
* Typical Applications
D 10 is useful as a denaturing agent in USDA inspected poultry and red meat slaughter, processing, and packaging operations for identifying meat not suitable for consumption. The formulation of D 10 conforms to the specifications prescribed in Section 314.2 of the USDA Manual of Meat Inspection.

Non-Staining To Equipment — Rinses freely from surfaces accidentally contacted.
D 10 is a dark green liquid blended with FD & C approved dye materials. This product has a Specific Gravity of 1.00 (8.33 lbs./gallon).
* Use Directions
Prepare a solution of 4 oz. D 10 to 1 gallon of water. Apply solution to meat and poultry carcasses and parts intended for disposal for purposes other than human food with a low pressure sprayer, in accordance with USDA regulations.
Available in 2 x 2 1/2 gallon cartons and 55 gallon plastic drums.
D 10 is authorized by the USDA for use under category code letter 4B:
Denaturants for meat. Denaturants for carcasses, parts thereof, meat and meat food products intended for disposal for purposes other than human food.
