CLC 401
Heavy-Duty, Chlorinated Alkaline Cleaner
* Purpose
CLC 401 is a completely built, chlorinated alkaline cleaner developed for removing tenacious organic soils, especially protein films. CLC 401 is non-foaming and is well suited for circulation cleaning.
* Typical Applications
CLC 401 is designed for use in meat, poultry and seafood processing plants, for cleaning all stainless steel surfaces, including equipment and related utensils. CLC 401 may also be used in removing organic soils from ceramic tile and brick surfaces. All recommended use concentrations of CLC 401 are safe to use on stainless steel, red tile, concrete, and ceramic tile. Do not use on soft metals such as aluminum, tin, zinc, chrome, brass or painted surfaces.

* Properties
CLC 401 is a clear, light yellow liquid, with a mild chlorine odor. It contains a concentrated blend of alkaline builders and water conditioners. CLC 401 has a Specific Gravity of 1.36 (11.3 lbs./gallon).
* Use Directions
Rinse all surfaces with warm water to remove loose soils. CLC 401 is normally used at concentrations of 1/2 to 3 oz./gallon of hot (130 degrees – 160 degrees F.) water, and may be applied by spray, circulation, or foam methods. Specific use concentrations depend on type and amount of soil. Consult your local LW Chemical representative for specific recommendations.

CLC 401 is authorized by the USDA for use under category code letter A2:

DANGER
CAUSES SEVERE BURNS TO EYES AND SKIN. HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED.
Contains potassium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Protect eyes when handling. In case of eye or skin contact, immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. For eyes, contact a physician immediately.
DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY. If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting. Give milk, egg whites, milk of magnesia or starch paste. If not available, drink large quantities of water. Get medical attention immediately.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Dilute this product only with water. DO NOT mix with acidic or ammonia containing chemicals. Toxic or hazardous chlorinated gasses or vapors will be released.
