Foam Additive
* Typical Applications
FA 389 is a concentrated liquid foam additive for use in conjunction with all types of cleaners and detergents used in meat, poultry, egg and seafood processing operations. FA 389 is compatible for use as a foam additive with both alkaline and acidic cleaners. It may be applied with all foam producing equipment onto processing equipment, utensils and environmental surfaces. FA 389 is safe to use on any surfaces not affected by the cleaner it is used in conjunction with.
* Versatile
FA 389 may be used safely and effectively with both acid and alkaline cleaners, enabling the use of time and labor saving foam cleaning methods and equipment.
* Concentrated
FA 389 is a concentrated product and enables economical, high use dilutions under most conditions.
* Properties
FA 389 is a clear, light amber liquid formulated with biodegradable surfactants and alkaline detergents. It has a Specific Gravity of 1.04 (8.69 lbs./gallon).
* Use Directions
Prepare cleaning solution using appropriate LW Chemical product at recommended concentration. Add FA 389 at a rate of 2-4 oz./gallon of solution. Apply foam using recommended equipment. Allow 5-10 minutes contact time, making sure foam does not dry on the surfaces. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and sanitize as recommended.

* Authorization
FA 389 is authorized by the USDA for use under category code letter:
A1: Compounds for use a general cleaning agents for all surfaces,
or for use with steam or mechanical cleaning devices in all departments.

WARNING:
CAUSES SKIN AND EYE IRRITATION.
Contains synthetic detergents. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wear side-shield safety glasses or other eye protection when handling concentrated product.
FIRST AID:
EYES: In case of contact, flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get prompt medical attention.
SKIN: For contact, flush affected areas with water. If irritation developes, contact a physician.
INGESTION:
DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY – If swallowed, drink large amounts of water or milk. Get medical attention.
